Health Matters

  • Nurse Beatrice Bowmani is on campus every Tuesday to answer questions parents may have, for medical record keeping and to participate in IEPs and other conferences as needed.
  • Medications may only be administered with the district required completed paperwork.
  • Physical Injuries involving students with a sprang or wearing a cast or sling must bring a doctor’s note and will not be allowed on the playground.
  • Quiet / small group recreational activities will be planned to entertain these students.
  • Volunteers need a current, negative TB test to regularly volunteer on campus.
  • Immunization Information and Records must be current and on file for your student to attend school. All required information is available in the main office.
  • Psychologist, Carla Kurachi, is on campus every Monday and Wednesday to answer questions and provide support and resources regarding emotional, social and behavioral concerns for students and parents upon requests. She also serves as our assigned psychologist for reports to IEP meetings.
  • Additional itinerants ( Speech & Language, A.P.E., OT, etc.) are available for conferencing upon appointment only. To make an appointment, contact the school on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
